A Historic Monument in the Heart of the Landes
Just seven kilometres from Eugénie-les-Bains, the Château de Bachen stands in all the nobility of its 18th century. Classified as a Historic Monument, it was once the seat of an ancient barony. Today, it remains the home of the Guérard Family, who watch over it with passion and bring it to life with a thousand projects.
The Four Seasons at the Table
For these Heritage Days, visitors are invited to an impromptu encounter with four historical figures. In the salons of the Château, four spectacular tables explore the theme: sparkling silverware, delicate porcelains, cut glassware, earthenware, and needlework… So many treasures that celebrate the art of entertaining and the refinement of bygone days. This weekend also marks the grape harvest at the Bachen cellar. Nestled in the foothills of the winery, it welcomes visitors for tastings and the sale of the estate’s wines.
